Ready to go

I'm about to embark on one of the biggest adventures of my life. My first flight overseas. I am thrilled to have this opportunity. I can't wait to experience the people, the culture, the sights, the sounds, the smells, and the tastes of India. I have many friends from this land and they are all wonderful people.

The first leg of my trip is to fly from Boston, MA to London, England. That flight leaves at 9 p.m. Thursday, takes 6 hours. For the younger ones, if I land in London on Friday at 3 a.m. Boston time, and London is 5 hours ahead of Boston time, what time, London time will I land? Keep in mind that tIndia is 10 1/2 hours ahead of Boston.
My flight from London to Bangalore, India (look it up on a map) leaves at 2 p.m. London time on Friday and lands at 5 a.m. Saturday which is 6:30 p.m. on Friday Boston time. That is a 9 1/2 hour flight that crosses another 5 time zones. Is your head spinning from the math?

I will keep everyone informed and upload pictures throughout my trip.
